The Jammu and Kashmir government has clarified that the JKSSB (Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board) will not reduce the application fees for recruitment exams. In a response to a question raised by Shri Showkat Hussain Ganie during the 2nd session of the Legislative Assembly 2025, the government stated that the fees are essential to cover administrative expenses due to the lack of budgetary support. All expenses related to conducting exams are managed through the collected fees deposited into the Revolving Fund.
