Rivers of Jammu and Kashmir (Geography of J&K)

The river system of Jammu and Kashmir is one of the most important physical features of the Union Territory. Almost the entire drainage ultimately flows into the Indus basin, making it significant for agriculture, hydroelectric power and international water relations.
